The Day After Boxing Day
You might have noticed that Christmas Eve comes first, then Christmas Day, and, once we’re done with that, it’s Boxing Day (so named, because this was traditionally the day that alcohol-fuelled, festive grievances were settled with a punch-up—Queensbury Rules, of course).
However, what should we call the day after Boxing Day? Many people have negotiated an extra li’l break from it all. They’re still schlumping about, still in grog mode, still scrolling for easy-to-consume holiday content.
“The twenty-seventh” can’t possibly do it justice, but perhaps we can conjure something that does? Help me choose, or please do reply with a suggestion of your own:

Slug Day

Pyjama Postscript
Saint Nick’s Lingering Farewell
