Wizards!
I looked up the origin of the word wizard today. It comes from the 15th century word wys, meaning wise.
A wizard is a wise old sage, and wisdom is a magic power that can unlock the mysteries of the universe.
Mysteries like, why were these wizards so obsessed with frogs? Literally every potion required a frog. What did they have against frogs? Who will speak for the frogs?
Here’s a recent drawing from the New Statesman.
