“Would you like a cup of tea?”
It’s a question we’ve all asked, and answered.
It’s a kind gesture, but one that’s fraught with danger. People can be very particular about their cuppa.
One person’s strong tea is another person’s nightmare. A third person’s weak tea is a fourth person’s insult.
Person five has only just come into the kitchen, but they feel the tension immediately.
It’s safer to drink coffee, and make it for yourself.
