An ancient bunch of weirdos who believed some wacky things! They had a lot of fun. They chased crows with sticks, buried stuff in the backyard, danced before breakfast, made cool art.

If you’re an expert historian™ like me, you’ll know that Etruscan art often featured people with very distinctive expressions. They look like their brains have been poked by an exhilarating thought.
There’s actually a movie called The Etruscan Smile (2018). I just watched the trailer.
At one point, Brian Cox (who is an actor) says, “Do what you love, while you can.” I think that’s the basic Etruscan idea that we’ve held on to—and you can trust me because I am an expert historian™.
