I used to work in central London, near Soho. It was a veritable hive of semi-famous media types. I would encounter them on my lunch break.
Once, I witnessed a TV presenter coming out of Oxford Circus underground station, with his phone held up to his ear—but he didn’t seem to be talking to anyone.
It looked like he was trying avoid being pestered by normals (like me). It was this thought that spawned the following cartoon.

Something Cool
This week I wish to recommend: Lee Madgwick’s mysterious and emotive paintings.
I particularly like his dwellings. Described on his website as “urban and rural pictures… …with occasional sprinklings of surrealism.”
You can follow Lee on Instagram.
